I'm not your typical health consultant. My journey spans elite athletics, rigorous academic research, international business, championship sports, and decades of coaching families and youth.

What makes me different? I've walked the walk at the highest levels. I competed with the New Westminster Salmonbellies in the Western Lacrosse Association and was part of the 1981 Mann Cup Championship team. I played junior football with the Richmond Raiders. I became the first person outside Japan allowed to compete in the All Japan Goju Ryu Karate Championships. At 52, I ran the Vancouver Marathon in under 5 hours.

But competition is only part of the story. I've spent 25 years coaching youth lacrosse, hockey, and football - helping hundreds of young athletes and their families build healthy habits that last. I served as volunteer President of our community Lacrosse Association, working to make sports accessible to all families. As a high school football and Junior A lacrosse coach, I learned what it takes to build sustainable performance systems.

On the business side, I founded and scaled G2 Creations from a local operation to an international company serving clients across Canada and the U.S. We weren't just about products - G2 Creations was a proud supporter of Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Students with Disabilities program, providing an inclusive pathway to employment for those who face barriers. Building that business taught me what works in the real world, not just in theory.

Meanwhile, I've spent decades in the lab and classroom. I taught anatomy and physiology at Simon Fraser University, presented research on neuromuscular physiology at international conferences (FASEB), and managed health and fitness programs at Club Med International Resorts. I'm currently completing my PhD in Public Health and Epidemiology from Walden University, focusing on applying rigorous research to practical health interventions.

The result? I understand both the science and the reality. I know what the research says, and I know what actually works when you're juggling a business, a family, competitive goals, and trying to stay healthy. I've lived at elite performance levels, coached at every level from youth to Junior A, built businesses, led community organizations, and contributed to inclusive employment initiatives.

Simple Health Solutions exists because most wellness advice is either too complicated, too generic, or disconnected from real science. I built the Four Pillars framework to bridge that gap - evidence-based strategies that work in the real world, whether you're an executive, an athlete, a parent, or all three.
